Posted on: 21 June 2012

Some of the PRISM team members have recently been awarded a new grant to look at the effects of premature birth on mathematics achievement and schooling. The project will use existing data to investigate:

  1. The long term consequences of maths and other learning difficulties.
  2. Whether delayed or deferred school entry benefit very preterm children’s school performance.
  3. What teachers and parents know about the outcomes and schooling problems of preterm children.
